The VFD must not be direclty connected to the tyre changer.

The pedal reverses the motor rotation direction and, therefore, damages the VFD. You will have to change the rotation direction with the terminal block command.

You will have to connect the motor to the VFD output. Then, you will have to use the pedal’s contacts to control the VFD.

Mounting method:

The common (24V, terminal 3) must be connected to the terminal side of the pedal, where the three-phase was coming from. For instance, you can use the terminal T.

Wire the two command wires to the terminals 4 and 5 (forward and reverse run). For a run direction (terminal 4), use T2, after removing the shunt.

For the other run direction (terminal 5), use T3.
